ProtoCycler+ Extruder

Desktop extruder that allows 3D printer filament to be created from recycled material, plastic waste, failed prints and industrial pellets. It features revolutionary extrusion hardware and digitally regulated filament diameter control. It also has a manual shredder to convert waste into reusable plastic.

  • MixFlow™ extrusion technology: Exposes the plastic to less energy for a shorter amount of time

  • Good surface finish and filament quality: absence of viscous shear and thermal degradation

  • Integrated spooler: neatly spools the filament

  • Supports PLA, ABS, PETG, HIPS, Nylon 12 and more

It should be noted that the ProtoCycler+ plastic extruder is currently only compatible with 3D printing plastics, which means that non-approved plastics of different origin (plastic bottles, bottle caps, toys, packaging) cannot be used, as they may emit fumes during extrusion or damage the mechanical parts of the ProtoCycler+.

In addition, the container for the shredded plastic has two components. Only the plastic pieces from the lower component are of the correct size (max. Ø 0.5 cm) and can be used for extrusion. What has not passed through the “sieve” of the upper component is too large and has to be reground.
